Modern Talking Reloaded

Incredibly this resemblance. The Modern-Talking-Doubleshow causeswondering faces, everywhere where they appear. Is it them or not? The Showact rises the level of mood on every event. Whether feeling of the 80’s or topical hits - the songs of them are catchy and incredibly popular.

The show is an enrichment for the most different events and is accepted by all ages with enthusiasm. In the inter-presentations à la Dieter and Thomas the most new (infamous) doings of the originals are always integrated with amusing manner. Therefore, great entertainment is guaranteed.

In addition, all mega hits by Modern Talking are presented and of course also the 2 best songs of the
album "Universe" of year 2003.

How has this begun?

"I wanted to get rid of my long hair, finally a short haircut", remembers Michael. "As the hair had come off, the hairdressers started to laugh and to whisper. One grinned and said: "I always wanted to serve Dieter Bohlen once."

The resemblance is remarkable: The guy born in Plauen easily could be twin brother of the Hamburg mega musician and inventor of "Modern Talking". However, it had become a show only when his old school friend Antje "coupled" him with her boyfriend Andrè. For a long time he was known for his resemblance to Thomas Anders and had already applied at a double's agency - however, which didn’t have a Dieter yet.

Andrè: "Antje advised me to call Micha. And this phone call has started everything, particularly as we are both from Plauen".

This was in March, 1999. The first test for the show was an event in Berlin where 500 spectators enthusiastically celebrated both. In April of 1999 newspaper “BILD” reported on half a side about both and already at the next morning all famous television broadcasting stations had called and wanted appointments for various shootings.

The disco temples broke and the fans raved. Michael and Andrè got a few videos of the originals, practiced songs and gestures and are now traveling as Modern-Talking-Doubleshow through Germany.

Since this time the Modern-Talking-Doubleshow rates among the most successful doubleshows of Europe, with approx. 100 appearances during the year. The artist duo has been booked for more than 450 appearances with more than 650,000 spectators all together across through Germany since.

Appearances followed in Austria and Italy. In 2002 they were on Ibiza and in Luxembourg.

The biggest live appearance was in September, 2002 at Olympia Park Munich with 35,000 spectators for a birthday party of “RADIO GONG”.

In May, 2003 during a Mediterranean cruise they have performed on the cruise ship "VISION EUROPEAN”.

Also TV has already discovered them: Among others, they had a seat on the couch in TV-Show "TV-TOTAL" of Stefan Raab (Pro7) and as well have been in the show of Harald Schmidt.

There have been appearances in many productions by MDR, in talk shows like "Hans Meiser", "Vera am Mittag", "Ricky" and in overnight shows of RTL ("Guten Abend RTL") and Sat1.
